How to resolve, “This Page Can Not Be Displayed” Error Message in 11

The following figure shows the internet explorer error message.

If you can not access the web site, ://elicensing.ri.gov/ with internet explorer and the error message states, “This page can’t be displayed” then try the following solutions listed below.

Solutions:

1. Make sure the latest Internet Explorer 11 is installed. 1.1. To determine which version of IE is installed 1.1.1. Open Internet Explorer. 1.1.2. Press ALT+H, and then click About Internet Explorer.

2. Try rebooting your computer. 2.1. Open Internet Explorer. 2.2. Navigate to, https://elicensing.ri.gov/. 3. Try clearing the Internet Explorer cache. 3.1. Open Internet Explorer. 3.2. Navigate to, https://apps.centenary.edu/itfaq/0000149 and follow the instructions. 3.3. Close Internet Explorer. 3.4. Open Internet Explorer. 3.5. Navigate to, https://elicensing.ri.gov/.

4. Add Compatibility View in Internet Explorer 11. 4.1. Open Internet Explorer. 4.2. Select the Tools|Compatibility View Settings. 4.3. In the, Add this website: text box enter the value, https://elicensing.ri.gov/. 4.4. Click on the Add button. 4.5. Click on the Close button. 4.6. Navigate to, https://elicensing.ri.gov/. 4.7. 5. Add as trusted site in Internet Explorer 11. 5.1. Open Internet Explorer. 5.2. Select Tools|Internet Options. The Internet Options pop up window appears. 5.3. Click on the Security . 5.4. Click on Trusted sites. 5.5. Click the Sites button. The Trusted sites pop up window appears. 5.6. In the, Add this website to the zone: text box, enter the value, http://10.200.72.11. 5.7. Click on the Add button. 5.8. Click on the Close button. 5.9. Navigate to, https://elicensing.ri.gov/.

6. Try closing all other web browsers that may be open. 6.1. Close all of the following listed below. 6.1.1. . 6.1.2. . 6.1.3. Chrome. 6.1.4. . 6.1.5. Internet Explorer. 6.1.6. . 6.2. Open Internet Explorer. 6.3. Navigate to, https://elicensing.ri.gov/.

7. Determine that Internet Explorer can access a different web site. 7.1. Try to navigate to http://google.com. If Internet Explorer can not access http://google.com then there may be a network issue. 7.1.1. Check that all network cables are plugged in. 7.1.2. Close Internet Explorer. 7.1.3. Reboot computer.
