I do not have a copy of my book at hand, John Hill had a son Thomas and a daughter but the error is in the memoir of Mary Elizabeth. John Douthit Sr. had a son Jacob Scott Douthit. The error is on page 20 of Douthit, b. 1765 that married an Elizabeth Mrs. Douthit's book, second column, next to Hill and a daughter Rebecca Douthit, b. last paragraph. 1762? that married a Thomas Hill.
