The world of wine is enormous; there are those that devote their working career educating the service staff and the patrons of fine dining on how to serve, enjoy and savor the fruits of the vine. It is only through working closely with the outstanding individuals that represent our distributors that this offering is possible and to them, many thanks each time a wine is offered and enjoyed by our guests. Each year, this wine list grows, and evolves to offer something new. My first day as Maitre’ D, here in the Crystal Dining Room, only one bottle of wine was in the wine rack. The Wine list of 2007/2008 in the Crystal Dining Room reflects the growth and commitment to our dining service, offering over 500+ Varieties of vintners and vintages. Comments and requests from our guests regarding Vintage Wines have come to fruition, no pun intended. With that in mind, the 2007/2008 Wine List continues an evolving approach with this addition. I look forward to any comments that you might have regarding this venue for us. Our list of fine spirits has grown considerably this year, with fine Small Batch Bourbons, multi~distilled Vodkas, imported Gins and Single Malt Scotches. You will find all of our selections listed on our Spirits Page. This year, we have listed appellation, year and as much as possible, the wines rating from National Publications to all the selections where this information has been provided. The following abbreviations: “NSRD” means “No Specific Region Designated”. This usually means that the vintner used grapes from a variety of areas to produce this wine. “N/V” means “Non~Vintage”, no year provided by the vintner for this selection. Both Wines and Spirits are intended to enhance and compliment the fine dining experience. We reserve the right to refuse offering wine or spirits as outlined by Arkansas ABC regulations. Vintages listed in our menu are subject to change due to the nature of the industry. If there is a certain vintage you are interested in, please inform your server or Maitre D’Hotel. Once again we are very excited about this year’s wine list. The offering is growing, quite researched and tasted. We continue to build verticals of specific wines. As I spoke about on the introductory page, it is you, the guest, that has requested older vintages on our wine pages.
