The OMLA will add house league play to the girls’ field lacrosse program it introduced last year, as well as increasing the number of players in its midget boys’ division to ensure better bal- ance among teams and more fun for participants. Approximately 1,000 players are expected to register in the OMLA this year, an increase from about 700 players five years ago. The OMLA will also focus this year on further- ing its player development programs and intro- ducing a mentoring program for new house league coaches.
