Thanksgiving Meal Donations for Poor and Homeless Individuals & Families The Social Concerns Office traditionally provides dinners to low income and homeless individuals and families who otherwise would not be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with their traditional holiday meal. If you would like to contribute, please donate grocery gift cards (Giant and Safeway), checks or cash to the Social Concerns Office “in-box” located in the Duffy Parish Center Main Office or at Mass Collections (checks must be designated “Thanksgiving BLESSED SACRAMENT SCHOOL Meal Donation” on the memo line) by Monday, November 19th. Poor Box Donations Poor Box donations in November will benefit Jubilee Jobs, an organization that offers employment preparation and placement services for individuals seeking entry-level jobs. The free services include resume preparation, interviews with hiring employers, career and educational guidance, and mentoring. Jubilee Jobs also offers a program to help people who are already employed figureout and take their next steps, which might include education, vocational training, housing, computer classes, and the like. 8:00am – 2:00pm and 4:00 – 5:30pm

CYO Sports 12U 7th Grade Girls Soccer Team Advances to Playoffs Under blue skies and bright sunshine, the Blessed Sacrament U-12 –7th grade girls beat The St. Mary Assumption 1 to 0 to advance to the next round of the CYO soccer playoffs. “The girls played a Blessed Sacrament very tough game and showed tremendous grit,” said coach Ryan Flax. “The St. Mary Assumption team, playing on their home field, was older and certainly much bigger than our girls, as well as having several more substitutes than we had....
