Directed by Denis Héroux, the film stars include: Ray Milland, Samantha Eggar, Donald Pleasence, Susan Penhaligon, Joan Greenwood, Donald Pilon and Alexandra Stewart with Peter Cushing heading the cast as the author who believes that cats intend to take over the world. He narrates three tales he has written to prove this, in which cats figure as the instruments of disaster for the humans they live with; or are they the bringers of justice? Each story contains elements of revenge, violence and suspense, all presented using interesting special effects. It is always the evil humans who are punished, however. Are the cats responsible for the unfortunate events portrayed or are the humans blaming them? Airs on Fri 6th Mar at 10pm.
