2020-2021 Collaborative Services Project Code: 557 Movie License Consortium Ethel Johnson Movie Licensing USA provides Public Performance Site Licenses so that K-12 schools can show (608) 786-4822 movies legally for non-teaching activities such as Family Movie Nights, before – and after-school [email protected] programs, student rewards, holiday events, and more. A Public Performance Site license saves you time and money since you don’t have to contact each studio directly. In addition to your personal comfort and reputation, this license provides protection from the hazards of non-compliance with U.S. Copyright Law. Movie Licensing USA represents the major Hollywood Studios including Walt Disney Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, NBC/Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Pictures, New Line Cinema, Lionsgate Films, MGM, Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures, Columbia Pictures, TriStar Pictures, Focus Features, Miramax Films, Warner Independent Pictures, Paramount Classics, Paramount Vantage, Fine Line Features, United Artists, Picturehouse, and Vivendi Entertainment. It’s like having an insurance policy for the schools in the district! Annual License: •The annual license runs from June 1st through May 31st of each year •Certificates and billing will be mailed to districts prior to June 1st •Covers school 24/7 before, during or after school •Covers entire facility, regardless of whether person(s) showing movie are affiliated with school •Movie may be obtained from any legal source (rental store, home collection, etc.) •Cost is based on total student enrollment at each school building that you want covered.
