Social strife across the —and around the world—is focusing attention on the "end time." The price of oil is today a major factor in worldwide inflation. The energy crisis is spawning tougher Sun- day laws. Arthur Burns, chairman of the Federal Re- serve Board, declared that if we don't solve this infla- tion problem within a couple years, "we will have to have an authoritarian government." In The Great Controversy, Ellen White said that God's people are going to be charged with the ills that afflict the world, including lack of "temporal prosperity." With the "end time" ringing in our ears, the issues of religious liberty become important to every Seventh-day Adventist. LIBERTY NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT NOW!
