Masaki Murashita first showed his scorching riffs and powerful songwriting, along with his blistering and aggressive vocal style with the critically acclaimed modern thrash band Hemoptysis in 2007 and he has been clawing his way to the top ever since. 2011 saw the release of Hemoptysis’ Album, Misanthropic Slaughter which was met with praise across the board from top Metal critics, magazines, blogs and radio. Combining elements of melody, thrash and modern extreme metal, Masaki has molded his own razor sharp brand of metal that is moving into the next stage of metal evolution. MURASHITA just released the debut solo EP, Inescapable Damnation featuring some of the top players in Metal including David Ellefson (Megadeth), Kevin Talley (Suffocation, Six Feet Under, Chimaira), Kelly Conlon (Death, Monstrosity), Rodney McGlothlin (Voice of Dissent), and mixed by award winning producer, Ryan Greene (Megadeth, NOFX). Early Previews of the new MURASHITA release performed on EMGtv were met with overwhelmingly positive reviews. The international tour to support Inescapable Damnation began in Japan September, 2015. Reviews: “With outstanding guitar work, great lyrics and a complete lack of conformity to industry expectations, “Inescapable Damnation” is a metal manifestation.” – Full Metal Rock “…There’s a thrash backbone in “Inescapable Damnation”, and Murashita has concocted riffs that not only get the adrenaline flowing and the blood pumping but also exude a sensation of grim menace — a sensation that’s magnified by the ravenous ferocity of his snarling voice. But there’s still more to this attention-grabbing song: It includes a guitar solo that reflects great melodic sensibility, in addition to physical dexterity; it’s a reminder that memorable soloing is about more than how fast you can shred…” – No Clean Singing “…Masaki brings his lead guitar and scorching vocals back to the forefront with his solo debut and I am left completely jubilant at what I’ve been listening to…” Rated 5/5 – Metal Odyssey Masaki Murashita 1-480-455-9006 • [email protected] • www.masakimurashita.com Interviews 2017 2015 Metal Meat – February, 2017 Taste of Khaos (Issue #4) – November, 2015 Metal Korner (in Spanish)- November, 2015 GreekRebels – November, 2015 Lords Of Metal Issue 162 – November, 2015 Metal Devastation Radio Interview by DJ Rem – October, 2015 2016 Metalship (in French) - October, 2015 Teach’s Criterion of Metal – August From Beyond Metal Fanzine (in Spanish) - October, 2015 Transcending Obscurity – July Skullbanger Media - September, 2015 Metalliville Webzine – July The Audio Sauna on Metal Nation Radio - May, 2015 DEATH BY METAL STL – February METAL JAPAN (in Japanese) - May, 2015 Winter NAMM Appearances 2016 Masaki did demo performances at the EMG Pickups booth at NAMM on Thursday, January 21, and Saturday, January 23, 2016 2015 Masaki did a signing session at the EMG Pickups booth at NAMM on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 12PM with Ira Black (Lizzy Borden/Atika 7) and Eric (EROCK) Calderone. 2017 -2016 Tour Dates 5/19/17 – Malone’s – Santa Ana, CA 3/27/17 – The Viper Room – West Hollywood, CA 2/1/17 – Skinny’s Lounge – North Hollywood, CA 8/8/16 – The Viper Room – West Hollywood, CA 6/27/16 – Eagles Lodge – Ogden, UT 6/25/16 – Club Red – Mesa, AZ 6/22/16 – Skinny’s Lounge - North Hollywood, CA Past Tour Dates MURASHITA On Video In February 2015, Masaki was invited to perform at EMGTV Murashita released music video for the song, Conquer The and performed “Retribution” and “This Show Must Go On” Foe in February, 2016.
