Results can be posted or collected on their behalf by prior written arrangement only. Literacy Update Renaissance Reading is flourishing around the school this year, with more students than ever receiving certificates for excellent progress. The following Governors students are Word Millionaires (they have read over a million words this year): Ellen Turton, Simona Herakova, Chaianne Frizzell, Leah Longstaff, Halimah Shahpal, Alyssa Riley, Bethany Perry, Lynnel Masangkay, Megan McDermott, Heather Lippitt Ayana Bogle, Renesha Hodgson, Davinder Kular, Jaipreet Guron, Eunice Olaniyi, Parent governor Matthew Johns and Fern Bunta Finn. David Poole MA, HRM, FCipd – Director of HR & Training – GeoPost UK Ltd (DPD) Responsible for Teaching and Learning (Teachers Pay & Performance management process, curriculum, quality assurance framework development, literacy and numeracy) David joined GeoPost nearly six ago and is based in the Smethwick Headquarters. Before this he was Den-building activity the HR Director for Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this David was the Global Employee Development Director based in the USA. He lived there with his family for nearly 5 years. GeoPost UK Ltd has a passion to help the communities in which they operate as a business, and particularly interested in focussing their attention on an individual school, hopefully in making a significant positive impact. The Phoenix Collegiate was an obvious choice for GeoPost and David is delighted to have been accepted as a Governor for the school with special responsibility for the improvement of teaching standards.
