Frank Sherlock You will be hard pressed not to get up during the show and dance in the aisles. Ensemble. Michelle Alindogan***, Sarah Liz Amoroso, Some of the most contagious dance music styles are captured in the beautiful score. Christopher DeJesus, Ashley Faus, Maya Elixabeth Garza, Salsa music and hip hop dominate the show and will really give the audience a Miko Ison, Arielle Luckban, JonNowakowski, Gabriela Reyes, flavor of the culture. Jesse Sanchez has carefully crafted a band of extremely talented Robert Summers, Jamail (Phillip) Davis** musicians who can not only play this difficult score, but also keep up with the heavy demands of the show, which is almost 2 ½ hours of relentless instrumentation. *US for Usnavi: Phillip Jaco One of the most exciting aspects of the show is the dance concepts. We were **US for Benny: Jamail (Phillip) Davis (Performs Nov. 5th and 6th) fortunate enough to cast a show that was talented enough to handle a much ***US for Carla: Michelle Alindogan (Performs Nov. 13th and 20th) heavier workload of dance. As such, our Choreographers, Val and Swap, did a wonderful job executing razor sharp, precision choreography to help tell our story and rapidly advance the plot. Our challenge was integrating enough movement to keep the audience engaged in the show, but also not take away from the story with too much dance. Congratulations The most spectacular part of the show is the ethnic diversity. It’s a hard-pressed ordeal these days to find a Bay Area musical with more than a few minority actors in the cast and we have managed to collect some of the most talented Latin actors Liz and Company around the Bay Area. All that being said, I am incredibly excited and honored that we are able to on another fantastic production! share this exciting and proud-full production with you all.
