III INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL COMPETITION „FLYING STAGE“ BURGAS 2020 Section „Ballet Arts“ Category: Classical Dance I. The participants are divided into the following age groups : 1. Group I – born 2008 - 2005 2. Group II – born 2001 - 2004 II. Participants can compete in an older age group but they are obliged to comply with the rules of the group they have chosen. III. Participants perform, at their own choice, one variation from the obligatory repertoire listed below. The variation must be carefully selected to suit the age and the abilities of the performer. The variations must be performed en pointe. IV. Only solo performances are allowed. V. Registration is to be done exclusively through electronic means from 20.04.2020 to 30. 04. 2020 . Participants should send documents to [email protected] as follows: 1. Filled-in Application Form 2. Video recording of the competition program 3. Participant’s photo in JPEG format 4. Scanned document showing that the registration fee has been paid to the following bank account: Recipient: UN “Rodni Zvutsi ” UniCredit Bulbank – Burgas BIC – UNCRBGSF IBAN BG53 UNCR 7630 1063 914880 Order reason – Participation in a competition and the name of the participant Applications for participation should be sent by e-mail, link or a file – sharing platform with download access. VI. The registration fee for participation is 20 euros. It is to be paid in Bulgarian levs according to the foreign exchange rates of the Bulgarian lev valid for the same day. The expenses of the money transfer are to be paid by the participant. VII. Payment by several participants on a single payment order is acceptable. In this case, along with the scanned document, the participant must enclose a list of the names of the other participants. VIII. Registration is to be made from 20.04.2020 to 30. 04. 2020 ., otherwise it is considered invalid. IX. Registration fees are non-refundable. X. The competition program and the profile of each participant are published on the competition website: http://flyingstage.numsiburgas.com/ XI. Upon registration, participants automatically disown the right for any financial compensation regarding the Internet publication of the competition material. XII. Competitive video recordings must comply with the following conditions: The video recording must be exclusively intended for the competition. The video recording must be of high quality, without video editing and visual effects. The composition is to be performed uninterrupted. Stopping the camcorder during performance is not allowed. On the recording, the participant must be shown in general view. The competition program must be performed in a concert hall or a similar establishment. The participant must be dressed in appropriate clothes At the beginning of the performance, the participant introduces himself/herself by saying in Bulgarian or English his/her name, surname and year of birth. If the video recording is made with tablet or mobile phone, the device must be placed horizontally. Video recording which does not comply with the required conditions will be returned to the participant with a request to send a new recording in timely manner which complies with the rules. Video recordings which are approved upon registration cannot be replaced on participant’s demand. Participants compete with one video recording only. XIII. The jury is appointed by the organizers and consists of pedagogues, members of universities and art schools, renowned authors and performers in the sphere of musical and performing arts. XIV. Jury regulations are made public along with the announcement of the competition. XV. Competition results are published - 30.06.2020. XVI. For each of the age groups the jury awards the following prizes: • GRAND PRIX – one - time grant - 150 leva. • І prize – diploma and the right to participate in IV International Virtual Competition “Flying Stage” - 2021 without a registration fee . • ІІ награда - диплом • ІІ prize - diploma • ІІІ prize - diploma • Encouragement awards – diploma XVII. The participants in the competition receive their diplomas in the address of the institution they represent. XVIII. Upon registration, participants consent to the statute and the regulations of the competition. XIX. Upon registration, participants allow the organizers to use, free of charge, the competition materials for the purposes of advertising, preparation and holding of the competition XX. The organizers have the right to make changes in the statute and the regulations in each of the categories, of which the participants will be duly informed.
