[email protected] ABSTRACT — Females and males of Prasadiseius cocytes (Prasad, 1970) (Acari: Otopheidomenidae) are redescribed based on live specimens collected during an expedition to Peru in August 2010. Several idiosomal structures, the dorsal and ventral setal pattern, and some details of gnathosoma are illustrated using photographs. Interspecific variation and presence of seta r5 are also discussed.
