LEARNING WITHOUT LIMITS

Towards 150 — Bursaries change lives. By opening our doors to those who might not consider joining South Hampstead High School, we can offer an excellent education, and create and nurture Our plans for the aspirations in a safe and inspiring environment.

Until 1976 and the abolition of the direct-grant scheme, the GDST was the largest provider next year of free independent school places in the country. In the past, up to 35% of the pupils at South Hampstead received a free place. These places transformed the lives of girls from all backgrounds on a large scale.

Today, just under 4.5% of our Senior School pupils receive financial support, but we are more committed than ever to ensure that talented young women can benefit from the ‘I joined South Hampstead in the Sixth exceptional education we provide.
