Beyond Roads. ON THE WAY TO A BETTER SOUTH AFRICA. South Africa’s road network is more than a means of getting from one point to another. It plays a critical role in the economy by enabling the movement of people, goods and services. At SANRAL we understand that this makes our network one of our country’s key contributors to competitiveness in global markets. The Polokwane Ring Road is one of our country’s strategic routes, since it provides a gateway to neighbouring countries and the rest of the African continent. The recent upgrades will significantly improve commuting and traffic flows close to South Africa’s busiest road port of entry. As a trusted custodian of our national road network, we believe it is through continued investment in the major drivers of the economy that we can navigate our way to a better South Africa.
