THE EDUCATIONAL TRUST PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITIES FOR STUDENTS FROM THE COUNTRIES WHERE THE JARDINE MATHESON GROUP HAS OPERATIONS. The Jardine Foundation’s goal is to develop future leaders who aspire to give back to the communities where we operate. Scholarships are available for courses at Oxford and Cambridge, with preference being given to undergraduate courses at the following Colleges: UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE Downing, Magdalene, Peterhouse, Trinity UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD Exeter, Oriel, The Queen’s, Trinity In addition to scholarships for undergraduate courses, the Foundation also offers scholarships for postgraduate studies. Potential candidates will generally be recommended through the preferred colleges at Oxford and Cambridge from those students who have already been accepted by the Universities to carry out postgraduate studies. Since the launch of the Foundation, scholarships have been awarded to UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD over 370 outstanding students from Cambodia, mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. 03 CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE The Jardine Foundation provides excellent opportunities for outstanding young persons to benefit from the unique qualities of an Oxbridge education. The Scholarship Committee is delighted to note that over 370 Jardine Scholarships have now been awarded to extraordinary individuals from 11 countries. Within the Oxbridge collegiate system, students of all disciplines benefit from the free exchange of ideas and experiences at their college, within PROFESSOR a context of cultural and social diversity.
