He started with Republic in 2012 as a pilot on the DHC-8 Q400. Ed has served as a Ground Instructor and Edward Manager of Republic Assistant Manager of Flight Operations. Ed serves as the primary company representative for the Flight and Dispatch ASAP Event Review Committees as well as the Fatigue Bagden Flight Operations Airline Management Review Team. He is a subject matter expert on the Flight Operations Manual and International Operations guide, and is line-qualifi ed as a Captain on the Embraer 170/175. Beth Blair is Manager, Infl ight Standards at Compass Airlines where she has also worked as a fl ight attendant and infl ight ground instructor. She started her fl ight attendant Manager, Infl ight Compass career in 1998 at a Newark-based 727 charter operation. She later worked the ticket counter and gates at Frontier Airlines before going infl ight at Southwest Airlines. Beth Beth Blair Standards Airline then pursued a career as a travel and aviation author and journalist. She contributed to various publications including Aviation Security International Magazine, BBC.com and Forbes Travel Guide. Over 27 years’ experience in the airline industry and a licensed A&P Mechanic and Private Pilot. I joined Republic Airlines in August 2004 as the Director Quality Assurance to Jim
