Cathie Dagostino became a Direct Care Volunteer in 2014 and Absent / Absents dedicated herself to the Richard, Helen, Benita, Don, Judi A, Donna, Renée, Laura & care, compassionate support and practical Clara. needs of all residents, their families and friends. With her Hospice partner Mary Ann, she radiated cheerfulness and friendship to all. She dedicated herself to the premise that the heart of a volunteer is never measured in size, but in the depth of commitment to make a difference in the lives of others. Cathie epitomised helpfulness and was always willing to roll up her sleeves and jump into a new adventure. Heavily involved in the Annual Gala, The Hike for Hospice and Butterfly Release, Cathie not only helped fundraise but also participated and volunteered at all of our events. To say she will be sorely missed at Maison McCulloch Hospice is, indeed, an understatement. She touched every section of the Hospice and its services and her memory will live on at the Hospice.
