This training will assist you in avoiding power struggles so that you can better assist the people you serve. Learn what a power struggle is and what is not. Learn to know when to step in, techniques that you can use, and when to use them.

Training Objectives:

 Recognize power struggles.  Identify an escalating power struggle and the stage it is in.  Identify power over versus personal-power struggles.  Identify and apply tactics for avoiding power struggles. Presenter: Dr Edward Fischer  Recognize the tendency for you to get into power struggles. From North: Head South on I-5.
