Vengence of Bane/Bane of the DemonBy Batmanny*This collection only has Vengence of Bane and Bane of the Demon.*I ordered this book because I really wanted Vengence of Bane. I thought $8.30 was a great deal since most back issues of this one-shot ranges between $15-$30 and any other Bane related comics they threw in there would have been a bonus for me. To my surprise, they also had Bane of the Demon, which to my knowledge, has never been in any collected form and a great deal since all four issues of that limited run are pretty pricey and hard to find. I wish they had the Vengence of Bane II and Batman: Bane one-shots in there as well, but I'm pretty happy with what I got. As I noted above, this collection only has Vengence of Bane and Bane of the Demon. If you want more of Bane, I recommend Knightfall Vol. 1 and 2, No Man's Land vol. 4 and 5, and Secret Six. If you have those already, than this book is perfect for your collection.Also, the title for this collection is misleading since there really isn't any Batman vs Bane stories here. Batman and Bane do not fight in Vengence, and if memory serves, Batman is not even featured in Bane of the Demon.3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.     Chuck Dixon: Wingman This January writer Chuck Dixon returns to Nightwing to tell a six-issue “Year One” story that bridges the gap between Dick Grayson’s last days as Robin and his start as Nightwing. Beginning in issue #101, Dixon, co-writer Scott Beatty and artist Scott McDaniel will reveal what really happened between Batman and Robin the day Dick was fired, why Dick chose the name Nightwing, and how this delicate time period impacted Dick’s relationships. Nightwing: Year One marks the third mini-series of origin stories written by Dixon and Beatty. In the last three years they have delivered powerful tales about Robin and Batgirl, giving weight and meaning to formative events in Bat history that weren’t fully explored. I talked to Chuck about what it’s like to write Nightwing again and what other “Year One” stories he might have up his sleeve. The Early Days The earliest comic book-based video game is 1978’s Superman, created by Atari for the Atari 2600, followed four years later by Parker Brothers’ Spider-Man for the same system. Neither games are anything to write home about, as both games feature blocky, nearly indecipherable graphics, but then again, that’s about all that was possible with the processing power of home consoles at the time. The graphics did not bother gamers, as they were happy to imagine themselves in the role of their favorite comic book heroes.

It is a civil rights issue and a human rights issue to push for inclusion, and to change environments rather than marginalizing those who don’t fit them. For many people, who perceive disability as more of a descriptor of a body, the words “disabled” and “superhero” may not seem to go together.

The art by Molenaar is fantastic throughout these comics capturing the fight sequences perfectly. Speaking of Starling, it appears that she has Amanda Waller on speed dial. She quickly works on strengthening the bonds between the two characters. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. It leads to complications. The collection opens with a fantastic pseudo-crossover with the Batgirl series, written by Gail Simone. The biggest point of this section seemed to be to show that Canary is losing control of her power.
