‘MYSTERY WOMAN’ CAST BIOS KELLIE MARTIN (Samantha Kinsey) - Kellie Martin’s career began at the age of seven when her aunt, nanny to the children of Michael Landon, arranged for her to audition for Landon’s television drama, “Father Murphy.” After landing a small role on the series, Martin’s career took off. ® Martin received an Emmy nomination for her role as Becca Thatcher in the acclaimed series “Life Goes On.” In addition to landing a regular role in “ER” and guest starring in such acclaimed series as “thirtysomething,” “The Tracy Ullman Show” and “Law & Order: SVU,” Martin has starred in a number of television movies including “Her Hidden Truth,” “If Someone Had Known,” “Breaking Free,” “Her Last Chance,” “A Friend to Die For” and “Hidden in Silence.” Martin has also appeared in the feature films ”Malibu’s Most Wanted,” “Troop Beverly Hills,” “Matinee,” “Jumping Jack Flash” and the animated “The Goofy Movie.” She can be seen in the upcoming musical, “Open House.” Throughout her life, Martin has learned to balance her career and her studies, choosing to put TV and the movies on hold while she enrolled in Yale University, majoring in art history. If she ever decides to stop acting, Martin dreams of working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art or opening a Manhattan photo gallery. Martin is married and lives in Los Angeles. # # # ROBERT WAGNER (Jack Stenning) - A minute-long appearance in the film “With a Song in My Heart” launched Robert Wagner’s long and successful career. Playing the role of a crippled soldier, Wagner’s eyes brimmed with tears in response to the singing of Susan Hayward. The immediate public reaction prompted the casting of Wagner in the film “Beneath the Twelve Mile Reef,” and his performance sparked the interest of Spencer Tracy, who then requested that Wagner be cast as his son in “Broken Lance.” This string of films was only the beginning of a career highlighted by projects such as “The Pink Panther,” “Midway,” “Banning,” “The Towering Inferno,” “Crazy in Alabama,” (more) HALLMARK CHANNEL / “Mystery Woman” Cast Bios – Page 2 “Wild Things,” and the “Austin Powers” trilogy, in which Wagner plays the villainous “Number Two.” This last endeavor has revamped Wagner’s career, exposing him to a new type of audience and a younger generation of patrons and fans. Wagner has headlined a trio of television series, including “Switch,” “It Takes a Thief,” ® for which he received an Emmy nomination, and “Hart to Hart,” which inspired a total of eight television movies. Wagner also starred in such miniseries as “Pearl” and “Love Among Thieves.” Following these roles, Sir Laurence Olivier selected Wagner to star in the TV adaptation of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,” opposite Wagner’s late wife, Natalie Wood. Olivier and Wagner worked together in “The Gun for Hire” and “To Catch a King,” as well. On stage, Wagner has toured the world in A.R. Gurney’s “Love Letters.” Today, he continues to perform the play at charity events with his wife, actress Jill St. John. When he’s not working, Wagner enjoys spending time with his three daughters – Kate, Natasha, and Courtney – who have each chosen to pursue careers in the arts and entertainment, following in their father’s formidable footsteps. # # # CONSTANCE ZIMMER (Cassie Thomas) – As a student at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, Constance Zimmer appeared in commercials, plays, and independent films such as “Warm Blooded Killers” and “Senseless.” Although busy pursuing a career in acting, she also helped fundraise for different charity events such as AIDS Project Los Angeles, Tuesday’s Child and The American Cinematheque. Zimmer made her acting debut in the comedy series “Ellen.” After guest starring in other popular shows such as “Seinfeld,” “King of Queens,” “X-Files,” “Providence,” “Gideon’s Crossing” and “Hyperion Bay,” she then landed a series regular role in “Good Morning, Miami,” where she plays Penny, the witty, burned-out assistant to Mark Feuerstein’s talented TV producer. Not only has Zimmer enjoyed working in television, she also has a love for theatre, recently starring in the Blank Theater Company’s Young Playwrights Festival production of “Mousy Brown” and winning a “Best Actress” Dramalogue Award for her performance in “Catholic School Girls.” When she’s not working, Zimmer likes to hike daily, spend time with family and friends, and take care of her dog and two cats.
