Qinqiang opera drama is one of the most exquisite stylized performance of traditional Chinese local operas. Qinqiang opera drama clothing, and other theatrical performances of traditional clothing similarity is exquisite and stylized, decorative effect as well as the audiences in the symbolization of abstract feelings, dramatic clothes in qinqiang opera drama very expressive aesthetics and art. Introduction Qinqiang opera drama as a traditional Chinese drama conductions, its dramatic clothes also represents the character appearance of traditional drama clothing, under the stylized costumes or wear shows of the respect and inheritance on traditional culture. Studies of qinqiang opera costume for one of the models, style characteristic, found that it contains the cultural connotation and aesthetic implication, the essence of traditional clothing, for the development of qinqiang opera drama has a positive and far-reaching significance. The formation of Qinqiang opera drama clothing Qin has been active in shanxi, gansu and the northwest region is the vast land of an ancient opera. The earliest qinqiang opera originated in shanxi guanzhong area, from the perspective of the change of type c, Qin Sheng, qin three stages. In the qianlong period reached for her best. Selim Yavuz Centre for Advanced Studies in Music, Istanbul Technical University 05/01/2013 Symbolism and Text Painting in Tan Dun’s Marco Polo Recent opera repertoire has seen a wide variety of styles in opera composition. Marco Polo represents a rather unique corner of this wide variety. Tan Dun explores a capacious array of influences in this work. Starting from his own roots, Chinese traditional music, he explores European art tradition to some extent. Tan Dun also touches the styles and elements that are present along the journey of Marco Polo. What makes Marco Polo an interesting case study for symbolism and –to use the “old” term- madrigalism1, is the fact that this opera incorporates so many different allusions and remarks alongside with direct references. Tan Dun does not refrain from using direct references to elements outside of the European art music idiom which were/are generally left as distant allusions when used by Europe-origin composers. This might be because of the confidence brought out by the fact that he is of Chinese origin and the general opinion of European art music community that one should always embrace their own roots. This is, of course, just idle speculation. Here, the article will try to demonstrate aforementioned elements within with concrete musical examples. In Xinjiang the international lingua franca English, the national official language Mandarin Chinese, and major Turkic languages such as Uyghur and Kazakh interact and compete for linguistic prestige in different social scenarios. The power relations between the Turkic languages, including the Uyghur language, and Mandarin Chinese is one in which minority languages are surrounded by a dominant state language supported through various institutions such as school and mass media. The much greater symbolic capital that the “legitimate language” Mandarin Chinese carries enables its native speakers to have easier access than the native Turkic speakers to jobs in the labor market. Therefore, many Uyghur parents face the dilemma of choosing between maintaining their cultural and linguistic identity and making their children more socioeconomically mobile. The entry of the global language English and the recent capitalist development in China has led to English education becoming market-oriented and commodified, which has further complicated the linguistic picture in Xinjiang. -

2nd International Conference on Economy, Management and Education Technology (ICEMET 2016) Brief Discussion on Historical Evolution of Sichuan Opera Tune Music Shengdong Yue1 1Chengdu Normal University Academy Of Music, Chengdu, Sichuan,611130 Key words: Sichuan opera, tune music, high-pitched tune, evolution Abstract: In this paper, taking high-pitched tune, the most representative and most development-impeccable in five tunes of Sichuan Opera as one example, by analyzing relevant historical facts and materials to take brief comb and discourse for Sichuan opera tune including Kun Opera, High-pitched Tune, Huur, Tanxi, Lantern tune. Actually, the Sichuan Opera with modern sense forms in early 20th century and the reason of the formation is the urbanization and commercialization development tendency of local opera art, which promotes different tunes’ merging spread in various districts of Sichuan and then after hundreds of intercourse performance, Sichuan opera implements its localization which forces the formation of ‘Five in One Tune’ modern Sichuan opera. Introduction Sichuan opera, as one of China Four Big Operas includes Kun Opera, High-pitched Tune, Huur, Tanxi, Lantern tune and speakers from educational circles think that these five tunes, except for lantern tune originating from native, the others are all the result of the combination of local dialect, folk music, folk tradition and fold customs with external tunes after coming into Sichuan and the combination evolution. After further integration and interaction of derived tunes with Sichuan characteristics, Sichuan Opera---Sichuan local opera with ‘Five in One Tune’ comes into being. The total constitution of Sichuan tune music is made up with two parts: singing and accompaniment music and the five tunes respectively belong to five tune systems of traditional opera: Kun Opera, High-Pitched Tune, Pihuang Tune, Bangzi Tune and folk song and dance and the accompaniment music is made up with percussion music and orchestral music. -

ABSTRACT Intangible heritage is a growing concept of emphasis in international communities. This study will define intangible heritage and focus on the performing arts in Taiwan. Inasmuch as Taiwanese Opera and Hand Puppetry are two of the most significant manifestations among others, research methods of qualitative interviews and non-participant observations will be used to gain an insight into their practices through investigating certain practitioners. This study will in particular explore organisational management and training approaches that ensure their artistry and skills are transmitted, contributing to the dissemination of intangible heritage. Furthermore, this study will inspect how the competent authorities determine the designation and registration of intangible heritage. Governmental schemes and their implementation for the safeguarding intangible heritage will be thoroughly examined, revealing the integrity and effectiveness of administrative systems, especially as the competent authorities are confronted by certain problems in the interpretation of intangible heritage, interaction with practitioners and controversy.
