The Mechanical Head Assembly... A Closer Look

Stanley Aviation’s unique head assembly design requires only a single shear bolt to secure the towbar to the nose landing gear (NLG) of the aircraft. A warning flag will extend if the shear bolt breaks under an excessive load.
