Aniplex of America to Release : Complete 1st Season Blu-ray Box Set

SANTA MONICA, CA (July 4, 2014) – Recently at their industry panel at Expo in Los Angeles, of America Inc. has announced their plans to release the first seaon of VALVRAVE the Liberator on Blu-ray in a Complete 1st Season Box Set on September 23rd. has also confirmed that pre-orders for this item will begin on Monday July 7th and will be available for sale in the U.S., , South and Central America on their official homepage: www.AniplexUSA.com/valvrave.

The VALVRAVE the Liberator: Complete 1st Season Blu-ray Set will feature all 12 episodes on three Blu-ray discs. The set features the series in the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. The box set is planned to feature numerous bonus contents and materials including the textless opening, textless endings, trailers, commercials and collectable postcards. Fans that purchase the VALVRAVE the Liberator Complete 1st Seaon Blu-ray Box set will also get to enjoy a deluxe poster featuring a special illustration by (Original Character Designer).

Created by SUNRISE studio (, Mobile Suit ), VALVRAVE the Liberator is set in a world where 70% of the human population lives in space, following the story of a high school student named Haruto Tokishima. Haruto is a kind young man who hates fighting, but all that will change as his peaceful town is suddenly invaded by the military forces of Dorssia Military Pact Federation. When everything around Haruto’s world seemed to come crashing down, Haruto discovers a mysterious humanoid weapon called the Valvrave. Haruto is forced to decide between saving his friends and abandoning his own humanity. Will Haruto liberate the world with his newly acquired powers?
