He was the institution’s president from 1900 to 1939. Biblical Seminary became the New York Theological Seminary in 1966. White developed an inductive system of Bible Study, emphasizing knowledge of the Bible rather than knowledge about the Bible. The collection contains essays, research notes, correspondence, clippings, scrapbook materials, books, booklets, leaflets, and photographs. Weisenbach, Vice President of New York Theological Seminary. In December 2007, a Deed of Gift was agreed between Dale Irvine (NYTS President) and James G. Neal (Columbia University Vice President for Information Services and University Librarian). This Collection was transferred to The Burke Library Archives (Columbia University Libraries) and accessioned in November 2008.
