Consisting of two rounds, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, the title went down to the wire in the final round on Sunday. Round 9 on Saturday went to Porsche Junior, Julien Andlauer (martinet by ALMERAS), who celebrated his first win in the international one-make cup. “To climb to the very top of the www.porscheroadandrace.com podium after a Supercup race has been my goal over the entire year. So, I’m over the moon. I had an almost perfect start and was able to gradually pull clear of my pursuers,” said Andlauer. Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Mexico, 27/28 October 2018: Julien Andlauer (martinet by ALMERAS) shows who was first in Round 9 Ammermüller (BWT Lechner Racing), who started from pole, was overtaken by both Andlauer and Larry ten Voorde (Team Project 1) in the first corner, a move that allowed the ten Voorde to snatch the lead. The Dutchman, Larry ten Voorde, then led the field all the way to the flag in the 16-lap race but he was judged to have performed a jump start and was handed a ten-second penalty.
