Interstate 10 Traffic Interstate 40 Traffic
I-10 begins at the Arizona State line and ends I-40 begins at the Arizona state line and ends at the Texas State Line. I-10 is 164.26 miles at the Texas state line. I-40 is 373.53 miles long. long. Arizona to Las Cruces: Arizona to Albuquerque (Big-I): AADT=15,600. Interstate 25 Traffic
I-25 begins at I-10 in Las Cruces and ends at the Colorado state line. I-25 is 462.12 miles long. Las Cruces to Albuquerque (Big-I): AADT=11,800 12% trucks The total traffic has experienced growth less than 2% per year.
Albuquerque Metro Area: AADT = 202,000 at I-40
Albuquerque to Santa Fe AADT=38,400 12% trucks
Santa Fe to Colorado State Line: AADT= 12,700 10% trucks The total traffic has experience growth of just under 2% per year.
The decrease in the % of trucks on I-25 north of Santa Fe is due to US 285 being an alternate route north-south route for trucks connecting to I-40 and points in northern New Mexico and Colorado.
