2013 Church Council There was one new Council Member elected at the Annual Congregational Meeting, January Baptisms and one Council Member retiring. Roger Neitzel has been elected to serve, Adrean Overstreet and will do so as the Financial Secretary. Son of Harley Overstreet, and Grandson of Tracy Petitt will take the position of Treasurer. Merlin Kenitzer is leaving the Council after six years of service as the Treasurer. and We are thankful to God for the willingness of these people to serve their church, and for Merlin’s true dedi- Benjimen Orren Boeck cation and service. At first, Da longs to return to his job. But soon, the leisurely pace and abundant camaraderie of the bathhouse, cause him to think. Where are Da's loyalties? Can he leave his successful career and high-style life to return to his roots? What does his wife think about this? Does success always equal happiness? A tender story with lots of comedy about the choices we make and their consequences. Nuts and Such… Women of the Church will sell nuts and candies again on Sunday, February 10th, at Coffee Hour (9—10), and upstairs (10—10:30). Communion Bread Baking Day Please bring a dish to pass and and your own table service. Lutherdale Auction Quilt Workday Roger and Jean Neitzel will host. Saturday, February 9 9:00 am We will again work on assembling the squares on the quilt, bake bread to share at communion, and share lunch together. Every one is welcome! Thank You to all who offered prayers, attended services, sent cards and memorials in remembrance of Rich. Thank you to the special friends and family who brought their talents to provide the beautiful church service. Thank You to the friends that brought, prepared, and served the lunch following the church service. Rich was always happy for the time and effort he spent working on church projects. He was greatly rewarded by friends for the projects he did at St. Paul. Thank You all for recognizing him.
