She was the first woman member and president of the Western Massachusetts chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild. She tuned pianos for many celebrities, including Liberace. For 30 years she was involved in Tahara—the Jewish Gentle Yoga for Seniors process of the final cleansing of the body for burial.
