PROJECT VALUE: $130 Million BRITEX PROJECT MANAGER: Mr. Tony Clynes BRITEX PROJECT ROLE Britex was engaged by the building contractor to manufacture and install all specially fabricated stainless steel fixtures with the PC2 and PC3 labs for the WEHI redevelopment. This process included generating shop drawings, consultation in fixture design, project managing and coordinating the production of fixtures within the program of the building contractor and installing the fixtures on site. Stainless steel works and fixtures for the project included: • Specially designed laboratory work surfaces (benches and sinks) that incorporated a raised ‘Tap Deck’ that allowed tapware to sit elevated above the working surface.
