How to get to the Research Council of Norway

The Research Council of Norway is located at Drammensveien 288 in Oslo, at Sollerudstranda by the river. From the train or bus, get off at . When driving, exit at Lysaker and follow the signs to Sollerudstranda.

The street address is Drammensveien 288, Lysaker [show on map]. The building is centrally located between the Oslo fjord and the E18 motorway. Visitors can travel to Lysaker Station by train, (airport train) or bus. The train trip from Oslo S () takes nine minutes. Trains run seven times an hour in both directions. The airport train departs three times an hour. From Lysaker Station it is a five-minute walk to Drammensveien 288. There are also good bicycle paths directly to the building.

If you arrive in Lysaker by train, it is a five-minute walk to the Research Council. Exit the station building on the side where the bus stops are, then walk straight ahead towards the river. Take the path to the right under the E18 motorway and continue across the street, then to the left (east) and over the bridge on the fjord side of the E18 motorway.

The Research Council shares the building with other organisations and companies. The reception area is immediately inside the main entrance. Here you can register as a visitor and get help to contact the person you are meeting or find the correct meeting room. Welcome to our offices!

• From the city centre:

1. By local train from Oslo S to Lysaker station (10 min) 2. On foot from Lysaker station to Drammensveien 288 (6 min) Exit the station building on the side where the bus stop is and walk straight ahead, then down towards the river. Take the way to the right under the E18 and across the road. Then turn left and go over the bridge on the right-hand side of the E18.

• From the airport:

1. By Flytoget (Express train) to Lysaker station (30 min) 2. On foot from Lysaker station to Drammensveien 288 (6 min)
