    ANNA PAWLAK∗ THE INTERWAR SPA RESORT WISŁA – THE DEGREE OF CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT PRESERVATION MIĘDZYWOJENNE UZDROWISKO WISŁA – STAN ZACHOWANIA ŚRODOWISKA KULTUROWEGO Abstract The aim of the article is to present and highlight the cultural heritage of Wisła as an example of an interwar spa resort designed from scratch, which in the contemporary times has been to a large extent destroyed. The urban principles and the construction projects realized in result of the regulation plans of the 20s and 30s of the 20th century created a coherent concept of the town’s growth based on spatial order and harmony with the natural environment, a concept which was consistently executed. The Author emphasizes that at present, owing to erroneous planning decisions, the proportions between the developed areas and the natural environment have been distorted, and the stylistic uniformity of buildings has been disfigured in the process of their modernization. Keywords: holiday resort, regulation plaus, cultural heritage Streszczenie Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na dziedzictwo kulturowe Wisły, jako przykładu projektowanego od podstaw międzywojennego uzdrowiska, które w czasach współczesnych uległo znacznej destrukcji. Założenia urbanistyczne i realizacje budowlane powstałe w efekcie planów regulacyjnych z lat 20. i 30. XX wieku stworzyły spójną koncepcję rozwoju miasta opartą na ładzie przestrzennym oraz harmonii ze śro- dowiskiem przyrodniczym i konsekwentnie były egzekwowane. Autorka podkreśla, że obecnie w wyniku nieprawidłowych decyzji planistycznych zniekształcone zostały proporcje miedzy terenami zabudowany- mi i środowiskiem naturalnym a poprzez modernizacje obiektów zaburzono ich jednorodność stylistyczną. DOI: https://doi.org/10.14746/ikps.2019.27.02 The issue of strategies of activities aimed at people with disabilities living in the relevant communes is a topic rarely undertaken in discourse of special pedagogy. These issues are found among the other activities that local government entities are contemporary obligated to implement, and span solutions and activities in the area of inclusion for people with disabilities. It is hence important to know and overcome problems and barriers that hinder or block the right functioning of people with disabilities. Some of solutions and activities are contained in the two types of com- munal strategic documents, these are: Commune Development Strategies and Strategies for solving social problems . The article consists of three parts. The first covers the characteristics of commu- nal strategies and social policy towards people with disabilities. The second part presents the assumptions and results of research based on a qualitative analysis of strategic documents of 27 communes (about 3900 pages of documents) in terms of categories and activities regarding the inclusion of people with disabilities.

Sulphur dioxide characteristics Sulphur dioxide (SO2) is one of the most common gaseous air pollutants. It is a transparent gas with a characteristic pungent odour that easily irritates the respiratory tract. SO2 is soluble in water and easily undergoes chemical reactions, including oxidation. It is toxic for people and animals, it also has a negative impact on plants, including agricultural crops. SO2 is one of the components of the so-called winter smog – a type of severe air pollution characteristic for the heating season. This is due to the fact that the main source of SO2 emissions is the combustion of fossil fuels – especially solid ones (hard coal, lignite) which are naturally polluted with sulphur compounds (its content ranges from 0.5 to 5% in the case of hard coal, but in extreme cases it can exceed 10% (Chou, 20121)).

INTRODUCTION The Goczalkowice dam reservoir arose as a result of the construction of an earth dam across the Vistula valley at the 67th km of the course of the river. It serves the Upper-Silesian Industrial Region and the Rybnik Industrial Region as a reservoir of drinking water, being also a storage reservoir impounding flood high-water arising in the upper course of the Vistula.
