Non-Combustible Garbage (Metal, Glass) Segregation Will Change from April Non-combustible garbage (metal, glass) segregation will change from April. To promote recycling, non-combustibles (metal and glass) will be divided into 3 categories: beverage cans, bottles, and non-burnable. Non-combustible collection schedule will also be implemented. How To Dispose Put into transparent or semi-transparent plastic bags. Collection Schedule Follow garbage collection schedule for your district. *Starting April 1, recyclable (cans, bottles) and non-burnable garbage collection schedule will be followed even on public holidays (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).* How to Dispose of Burnable Garbage ・Put in Annaka City designated plastic bag, secure the bag, and bring to the designated garbage station. ※ Garbage bags for burnable waste are sold in supermarkets. Look for 燃えるごみ labelled bags. ・Furniture, futon, and garbage bigger than 50cm are big-sized garbage, do not take them out to the garbage station. Please bring to Usuigawa Clean Center for disposal (disposal fee applies). ・Garbage from stores and businesses are not allowed in garbage stations. Securely wrap each item and bring to the garbage station for collection. ・Rechargeable and button batteries are not collected. Used clothing will still be collected on rainy days as long as they are dry. However, we recommend that you refrain from disposing used clothing on rainy days. These collections are scheduled and announced in advanced. Annaka City residents are highly encouraged to support these organizations.
