Memebr of Knowledge Management Committee ICMR, 2011. NON-FUNDED RESEARCH WORK Prospective study of infection in Neurosurgical cases. Neural transplant – In rats and Monkeys. Including implantation in Caudate and Putaminal area. Use of cultured embryonic neural tissue for transplant. Also used MPTT in monkeys for experimental Parkinsonism and found the role of neural transplant. Worked in Neuro-Oncology laboratory at National Institute Neurology Queen Square London July 1988. Worked on Transfusion Malaria. Worked on autologous blood transfusion in Neurosurgery. Worked on evoked potential in various Neurosurgical Disorders such as head injury, spinal cord compression, CV anomalies, Syringomyelia and traumatic blindness. Working on Various aspects of head injury and completed 30 projects. Prospectively Studied various aspect of the supratentorial gliomas, gene expression, nitric oxide, Cathepsin L in infratentorial tumours. P300 in Insulin dependent Diabetes mellitus.
