Greetings to the Partnership family! Spring is here ... days of revival and blossoming, programs, missions, volunteers, young adults, youth and many more. We are pleased to share with you a little of what recently happened in the Partnership. We wish you and your families a happy holiday and may you too enjoy growth and renewal. ~ The Partnership staff How special connections in the Partnership are built? Watch the Partnership story Bringing happiness to the Children's Ward Today, 8th graders in the Teen Leadership program brought a smile to the faces of children hospitalized in the children's ward of HaEmek Medical Center. Over recent weeks the teens had collected a wealth of games, toys, sweets, and arts & crafts activities from schools in Migdal HaEmek and Nazareth Illit. They brought their 'treasure chest' of toys and games to the hospital and played with the children during the morning hours, handed out bags of treats to the young patients and of course left all of the games they'd collected as a donation to the Children's Ward. How wonderful it is to make others feel good! Tamarack 2016 – preparing for the trip This is the 15th year in which more than 80 teens from the Partnership region will travel for an unforgettable summer experience at Tamarack summer camp. Teens from Jezreel Valley, Nazareth Illit and Migdal HaEmek are presently getting ready for their departure to the camp this summer. "Naim Beyachad" – carving out a trail for the Partnership Path Some thirty-five 10th graders from the Partnership region and the village of Yafiya joined hands to carve out a one-kilometer segment of the Partnership Path called 'Naim Beyachad'. The segment connects between Kfar Hachoresh, Nazareth and Yafiye. With rolled up sleeves and hoes in hand, the teens cleared a walking and cycling path that completes the 55- kilometer circuit connecting between local communities in Jezreel Valley, Migdal HaEmek, Nazareth Illit, Old Nazareth and Yafiye. Happy Purim to Detroit lone soldiers Amazing Teen Leadership participants collected sweets from schools in our three partner municipalities and put them in to packages- Mishloach Manot for purim to the Detroit lone soldiers in Israel Partnership family sending a big hug to the dear soldiers . Recent visitors to the Partnership region The JFMD Steering Committee and the Israel & Overseas Committee visited.
