Area Affected (Last 24 Hours). Ser Province / Rgn Daily Incident 1 x child and 1 x female died due to urban flooding in Sector E-11/1. a. ICT Details to follow. b. Balochistan Nothing to Report (NTR) 1 x house fully damaged in District Abbottabad due to land sliding. Furthermore, 50-60 houses in the area are at high risk. Khyber c. 2 x children died & 2 x persons got injured in District Mardan Pakhtunkhwa due to building collapse. Yarkhon-Mastuj Road blocked due to land sliding. 2 x persons died in District Gujrat due to roof collapse. 1 x person died in District Sialkot due to building collapse. 1 x person got injured in District Gujranwala due to roof collapse. Due to rain in Islamabad (Saidpur 123, Golra 103, Bokra 20, d. Punjab Shamsabad 30 & Chaklala 15), Nullah Lai attained maximum level as following: - Kattarian - 21 ft (0810 hours) Gawal Mandi - 17 ft (0920 hours) No loss of life or property reported and situation normalized at 1130 hrs. e. Sindh NTR f. AJ&K 1 x bridge damaged due to flash flood at Bagrote on 27 July 2021. g. Gilgit Baltistan However, no other damages reported. Detail assessment will be shared by GBDMA. 2. Weather Forecast for Next 24 Hours by PMD. Fairly widespread thunderstorm/rain of Moderate to HEAVY Intensity with isolated VERY HEAVY falls is expected over the upper catchments of all the Major Rivers along with Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha & Lahore Divisions. Scattered thunderstorm/rain with one or two HEAVY falls is expected over Peshawar, Kohat, Banu, DI khan, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur & DG Khan Divisions. 8. Rainfall Last 24 Hours. Attached as Annex B. 9. Weather Advisory / Press Release. In response to PMD weather alert NDMA has issued weather advisory to all concerned on 26th July 2021 that strong monsoon currents Page 3 of 5 are continuously penetrating in upper pats of the country and likely to continue during the week. Under the influence of this weather system, following is predicted: - a. Rain-wind-thundershower (with isolated heavy falls) is expected in Kashmir, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Mianwali, Kohistan, Shangla, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera, Dir, Chitral, Peshawar, Kohat, Tank and Karak with occasional gaps from Monday to Friday (26th- 30th July 2021). b. Rain-wind-thundershower is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan (Ghizer, Astore, Diamir, Skardu Gilgit, Hunza, Nagar, Ghanche and Kharmang), Bannu, D.I. Khan, Bhakkar, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Sahiwal, Barkhan, Kohlu, Sibbi and Zhob from Tuesday to Thursday (26th 29th July 2021). 10. Flood Warning / Alert. As per FFD, flows are likely to increase in River Jhelum at upstream Mangla (High to Very High flood level) and High flood in River Chenab at Marala, Khanki, Qadirabad from 28th to 30th July 2021.. 11.
