Dr. Messnarz focuses on system architecture, functional design, requirements management and safety. Dr. Messnarz manages EU initiatives to deal with innovation (www.innovationmanager.org) and process improvement (www. eurospi.net) and he is the moderator of the German initiative SOQRATES, where experiences and practical improvements for requirement management, system and SW design, system test and safety standards are replaced (involved are companies like Magna Powertrain, Magna E-Car, ZF-Zentrale, ZF-Sachs, Continental Temic, Continental Teves, Hella, Elektrobit, KTM, etc.). In addition, he is cofounder and vice president of the European Certification and Qualification Association (ECQA) and since 1994 he has been being coordinator of the European System, Service and Software Process Improvement and Innovation Initiative (EuroSPI2) and he is organizer of the annual EuroSPI2 conference. He is currently manager of the EU project “ECQA Certified Safety Manager” (2012 – 2013). Dipl.-Ing. Damjan Ekert has studied Telematics at the University of Technology, Graz, Austria and finished his studies with distinction. Since 2001 he has been working for Dipl.-Ing. Damjan Ekert ISCN as SW project manager, ISO 15504 and Automotive SPICE consultant and SW integrator. He was involved in different international projects, was in charge of the EU-financed project „e-security manager“ and is certified trainer for EU Project Management and e-security management. Damjan Ekert has many years of experiences as consultant in the range of software process improvement and is member of the group „model comparison“ of the Austrian research group S2QI. In addition, he is certified ISO 15504 assessor, vice president of ISECMA registered association (International IT Security Management Board) and member of the European Certification and Qualification Association (ECQA). Damjan Ekert is consultant for quality management for Magna, ZF-Lemförder and ZF- Lenksystems. He is currently involved in the area of BPM (Business Process Management) with two EU funded projects (ECQA Certified Business Project Manager and Business Process Management for Higher Education). Dr. Volker Ovi Bachmann is a certified competent assessor and trained FMEA moderator. Since 2008 he has been being executive of SIBAC GmbH. He acted as Dr. Volker Ovi Bachmann adviser for Magna Powertrain, ZF-Lenksysteme, ZF-Lemförde and other medium- sized companies. The advisory activities involve the issues quality management in close collaboration with ISCN. This includes also the accomplishment of assessments according to DIN/ISO 15504 (SPICE) as well as the consulting for development processes. In addition the moderation of FMEAs and risk analysis and the combination of the safety standard IEC 61508 with the named methods belongs to it. He is a specialist for mechatronical complete system observation and platform strategies. Dr. Bachmann has written diverse national and international announcements and patents. After his informatics study at the ETH Zurich Dipl.-Ing. Bernhardt Messner has been Dipl.-Ing. Bernhardt Messner occupying with model-based SW development (Model Driven Development, MDD) since the nineties - mainly in the range of automotive. With his long lasting experience he supports companies in the conception and implementation of MDD for increasing productivity and quality with - improvement of recoverability, - ideal use of automatic possibilities, - increase of quality, - securing of portability and - better legibility and easy incorporation. There standards (e.g. AUTOSAR) or processes (e.g. SPICE) are weaved into a company-specific MDD approach, to reduce highly the time-to-market for serial developments. Dr Andreas Riel has more than 12 years industry experience. He was innovation manager at AVL List Graz. Then he moved to Grenoble Institute of Technology, Dr. Andreas Riel France and became the coordinating manager of a FP7 project for innovation in manufacturing, which resulted in the foundation of EMIRacle. He was coordinator of the EU project “Integrated Design Engineer” and he habilitated at the Greoboble INP. Andreas Riel joined the ISCN Group in 2012. Currently he is a member of the EU project “ECQA Certified Safety Manager” where together with ISCN and other partners a set of core competencies for safety managers are developed. Her main tasks are to act as the training manager of ISCN in cooperation with the German Automotive Adrienne Clarke BA Association (VDA) for Automotive SPICE Compact and Assessor courses. She studied new media in London and has more than 20 years working experience from the Netherlands, UK and Ireland. She is also one of the organizers of the annual EuroSPI conferences. In the recent years she has specialised as a social re- sponsibility researcher and expert and is part of the EU project “ECQA Certified Social Responsibility Manager”, which delivers core competencies to build on human resources and work forces.
