A Trust that is institutionalized by Parama Poojya Keerti Sesha Shri Guru Govinda Vitthala Dasaru of Mysore has been conducting Haridasa Sammelana & ArAdhana of Shri Purandara Dasaru at different pilgrimage & other centers of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Maharastra to propogate the quint-essence of Vyasa-Dasa Sahitya. We commend all the Hari Bhaktas who have attended Haridasa Sammelana's at those places. The 34th Haridasa Sammelana & ArAdhanotsava of Shri Purandara Dasaru will be conducted in 2011 in a very special way.
Introduction to Shri Purandara Ashrama:
With the sole aim to show the righteous path of Self upliftment to Sadhakas, this Haridasa Adhyatmika Sadhana Kendra (National Spiritual Center) was established. This Sadhana Kendra was a long cherished dream of Shri Harinarayana Vittala Dasaru (Shri H.Hanumantha Rao of Hyderabad), a disciple of Late Shri Guru Govinda Vittala Dasaru of Mysore, a direct descendent in the Haridasa Lineage of Shri Purandara Dasa & Shri Vijaya Dasa.
To achieve this goal an extent of 11.54 acres of land was acquired adjoining state highway of Adoni- Madhavaram-Raichur; Adoni-Madhavaram-Mantralayam at the A.P-Karnataka border surrounded by close to 30 holy pilgrim centers including the “World Renowned Mantralayam”. The surroundings of Ashrama are calm and serene endowed with natural radiating waves of healthy and spiritual streams of thoughts.
The "Shanku Sthapana" function of Ashrama was carried out ceremoniously with all grandeur by "H.H. Shri Shri 1008 Shri Sushameendra Teertha Swamiji", the earlier pontiff of Shri Raghavendra Swamy MaTa, Mantralayam on Shri Narasimha Jayanti in 2005. The same year "H.H. Shri Shri 1008 Shri Vishvottama Teertha Swamiji", the Peetadhipati of "Latavya Chakravarti - Bhavi Sameera Shri Vadiraja MaTa" visited Ashrama site and blessed the project.
With such divine blessings of Shri Hari-Vayu-Gurugalu, the Ashrama project became a reality with the pratisthapana of deities of "Shri Prasanna Shrinivasa, Shri Chakradhara Narayana, Udupi Shri Krishna, Shri Panduranga Vittala, Avataratrayopeta Shri Mukhyaprana, Shri Raghavendra Swamy in the form of Mruttika Brundavana & Shri Purandara Dasaru" by "H.H. Shri Shri 1008 Shri Suyateendra Teertha Swamiji", current Peetadhipati of Shri Raghavendra Swamy MaTa.
The contribution of Shri Harinarayana Vittala Dasaru to Haridasa Parampara is highly commendable and stands out among all the contributions of disciples of Shri Gurugovinda Vittala Dasaru. In a nutshell, Shri Harinarayana Dasaru laid out the path for spiritual sadhana for Sadhakas who are otherwise entangled in the vicious circle of samsara. Sadhakas are encouraged to visit Ashrama not just during the ArAdhana celebrations or during special occasions but anytime they wish to spend quality time in the chintana of Shri Hari-Vayu-Gurugalu far away from the busy city life.

3. Devotees visiting from Bangalore, Mysore, Chennai by Train can alight at Adoni and take bus, shared auto, van going towards Mantralayam or Raichur via Madhavaram. Shri Purandara Ashrama is about 25 kms from Adoni and 1 k.m. after 1 small village Chinna Tumbulam.
4. Devotees visiting from Mysore/Bangalore by bus should board bus going to Mantralayam via Madhavaram and alight at Shri Purandara Ashrama.
