MISSION 2019 WE STILL HAVE a few more students to introduce to you. MEET BEN FLAKE. Ben is a third year returning Mission student who is a sophomore at Catholic Central. He plays football, wrestles and does the shotput. He is interested in physical therapy and nursing. Per Ben: “’Strengthen the vine’ is a call to work hard, to go above and beyond the normal things we do to strengthen our relationship with God. I feel that this program is a good opportunity to help and serve God’s people through physical service and the act of giving time to help them.”

MEET IAN TWIGG. Ian is a second year returning Mission student and a sophomore at International Academy West. He skis and dives and enjoys playing video games. Per Ian: “God calls all of us to live out His will and preach this message. This program is a platform for my voice to be heard by the people who need to hear it most. It is an enriching experience that give me and my fellow peers a chance to speak the word of God. Strengthen the vine means to strengthen the connection between us and use that connection to positively affect others around us.”

Don’t forget to order you Dearborn hams and kielbasa for Christmas dinner!
