DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH Dr Urvashi Sabu was awarded the Charles Wallace India Trust Translation Fellowship to the British Centre for Literary Translation, University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, for a period of ten weeks from October to December 2018. This prestigious fellowship in the field of translation is awarded to one person every year. For this project, she undertook a translation of an Urdu non-fiction prose work, Buri Aurat Ke Khutoot; Naazaida Beti ke Naam written by feminist woman poet Kishwar Naheed.
