Today with 70+ employees and 4 offices across India, it makes her a proud business Woman providing operational, strategic and administrative leadership in challenging situations. Having a computer science degree and guided by the father who won National Award, she took upon the challenge to change Govt services and reformed the road sector through technological drive. Her company has delivered projects which have been catalyst in redefining the way Govt to citizen services were delivered and the model was thus replicated on PAN India level. Way back in 2001, the project named TWINS. This project was also showcased to the then US President “H.E. Bill Clinton“.Today, her company is considered a niche player in e-governance. In her quest to reform the road sector through “Intelligent Transport solutions”, in 2006 she formed a Joint Venture with world’s leading intelligent Transport Solutions Company named Q-Free ASA - Norwegian AAA rating organization. Incidentally 2006 was also the year when she founded the YFLO chapter of Hyderabad. (YOUNG WOMEN WING OF FICCI) Her company went on to specialize in the road sector and today has strategic partnerships with world leaders like SWARCO (the swaroksi group company), TOMTOM (Backbone of Google map) and SAP (world’s largest ERP solutions company). She have leveraged her sound business policies and good relationship with Governments across ideologies including the current dispensation.. Some of the notable contributions are as under: ! Implementation of RFID based electronic toll collection technology for India, integrating with the central clearing house of NPCI and payment settlement system across banks for toll lanes in India. ! A few major Highways in the country are running with her solutions. Some of them are Delhi Agra Highway, Gurgaon- Faridabad Toll road, Hosur Krishnagiri Toll road near Banglore and Pune- Satara expressway. ! Currently her company is implementing Smart City projects in many states. Page 11 of 14 Vinita Bimbhet is the Immediate Past President of FLO, the women’s wing of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. FICCI is the largest and oldest apex business organization in India. Its members are leaders in the corporate sector, representing 2,50,000 companies. It is key in influencing and shaping business policy and articulating the voice of the private sector. She has been working towards women empowerment for the last fifteen years and was responsible for setting up FLO Mumbai Chapter in 2002. Amongst others she led their initiatives for empowering women by building sanitation facilities for schools in rural Maharashtra. This initiative was launched in 2011 and has seen the successful completion of over 250 toilets. She launched the “Roti Project” which provided vitamin fortified Indian bread to school children for whom this was probably the only meal. This was done in partnership with HUL's Annapoorna brand of flour and most importantly it also provided alternate employment to women.

It appears that overhauling of the entire structure of regulatory intervention is crucially dependent on giving autonomy to the students, teachers and universities. An examination of the NEP through the lens of the faculty would reveal how the role and performance of the professoriate have been assessed in the overall diagnosis of the challenges facing the Indian higher education system. This paper discusses the concept of autonomy of the teachers as well as of the university and how the issue of institutionalisation of accountability has been dealt in the NEP. This paper critically examines two fundamental policy recommendations, one, the proposal to raise public funding to 6 per cent of GDP for the education sector as a whole and two, to curb commercialisation and encourage philanthropy in higher education. The way entire architecture of regulatory intervention has been designed, it seems that a quasi-market for higher education is to be constructed to foster competitiveness both within the higher education institution and within the higher education system.

    First-Ever Fest With A Cause Rocks Delhi University Report of the Gender Mela Venue: Miranda House, Delhi University Date: Feb 11-13, 2016 10 am-6 pm Partners: MenEngage Delhi, Miranda House WDC, OBR, CFAR, Action Aid, WFS, Nazariya, ITVS, KRITI, CEQUIN, Action India, Jamia Milia Islamia, Ambedkar University of Delhi, Prayatn, UN Women, Centre for Health and Social Justice Run up to the Gender Mela: The college fests are the biggest attraction of Delhi colleges during the months of January and February, bringing together all the students for some camaraderie, learning and sharing. College festivals are largely planned and promoted as cultural extravaganzas, in addition to other activities such as games, debates, sports, etc. This year MenEngage Delhi, Miranda House Women's Development Cell, One Billion Rising, CFAR, Women's Feature Service, CHSJ and many other civil society partners and colleges decided to expand the canvas by bringing in issues of gender, social justice and masculinities to the fore. The Gender Mela was planned as a 3-day event to be held in Miranda House where participants would come in to have fun and dance and sing without inhibitions while engaging with complex issues and trying to unravel concepts and ideas around gender. This fest with a twist had discussions, debates, stalls, games, cultural performances and much more. It was a jamboree organised around issues of Gender, breaking stereotypes and setting new examples. The Gender Mela started attracting eyeballs a few months in advance through an innovative promotional campaign both on the ground and online in the social media.
