INCLUSION OF TOPICS RELATED TO HARMFUL EFFECTS OF DRUGS IN ACADEMICS SYLLABUS

In accordance with the minutes of the Force Commander conference held on 17 Dec 2013. Higher Education commission was approached for inclusion of topics related to harmful effects of drugs in academic syllabus.

In this regard, ANF has achieved the milestone by the inclusion of chapter in class 8th syllabus about drug abuse and its effects by the government of Sindh in Year 2015.

Also with the efforts & coordination of ANF RD Sindh with other line departments the Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Institute in Karachi has Inaugurated separate department of drug addicts’ treatment and rehabilitation, with the aim of establishing additional facilities of drug addict’s treatment in Sindh Province.

Soon, the same will be implemented in other provinces.
