We pride in having the most vibrant faculty and well- groomed multidimensional students driven by self- motivation and quest to continuously improve. We already have a well- established degree program in Electrical Engineering and from Fall 2020, the department has also started the degree program in Computer Science which has now become one of the most sought-after and premier career choice world-wide. Our department offers one of the field’s strongest instructional and research program driven in part by the industry. We have very strong linkages with both public sector as well private sector industry that results in meaningful projects and research. Our graduates have got jobs in big international companies like CERN, AirBus, Huawei, Eltek etc. and almost all renowned national firms including defense sector. Our graduates have won competitive MS/PhD scholarships in world's top schools including Columbia USA, BYU USA, RWTH Aachen Germany, York Canada, Cambridge UK, NTNU Norway and Monash Australia to name a few. I have always got very positive feedback from employers as well as foreign professors about our graduates and that always makes me and our faculty very happy.     Report Organization This report consists of the following volumes: Final Report I Volume 1 : Summary Volume 2 : Main Report Volume 3 : Sector Report Final Report II Urgent Rehabilitation Projects In Final Report I, volume 1 Summary contains the outline of the results of the study. Volume 2 Main Report contains the Master Plan for rehabilitation and reconstruction in Muzaffarabad city, Pakistan. Volume 3 Sector Report contains the details of existing conditions, issues to overcome, and proposals for future reconstruction by sector. Final Report II deals with the results and outcomes on the Urgent Rehabilitation Projects which were prioritized and implemented in parallel with master plan formulation work under the supervision of JICA Study Team. The exchange rate applied in the Study is: (Pakistan Rupee) (Japanese Yen) Rs.1 = ¥1.91 (Pakistan Rupee) (US Dollar) Rs.60.30 = US$ 1 PREFACE In response to the request from the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Government of Japan decided to conduct a Urgent Development Study on Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in Muzaffarabad City in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and entrusted the Study to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). JICA selected and dispatched the Study Team headed by Mr. Ichiro Kobayashi of Pacet, consisted of Pacet and Nippon Koei, to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan from February 2006 to August 2006. JICA set up an Advisory Committee chaired by Dr. Kazuo Konagai from the University of Tokyo, which examined the study from the specialist and technical points of view. The Study Team held discussions with the officials concerned of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and conducted the Study in collaboration with the Pakistani counterparts.

The masses Abstract frequently visit Sufi shrines and perform different rituals. The shrines of Khawaja Shams-Ud-Din Sialvi of Sial Sharif and Meher Ali Shah of Golra Sharif have been taken as case study due to their religious importance. It is a common perception that people practice religion according to their cultural requirements and this paper deals rituals keeping in view cultural practices of the society. It has given new direction to the concept of “cultural dimensions of religious analysis” by Clifford Geertz who says “religion: as a cultural system” i.e. a system of symbols which synthesizes a people’s ethos and explain their words. Eaton and Gilmartin have presented same historical analysis of the shrines of Baba Farid, Taunsa Sharif and Jalalpur Sharif. This research is descriptive and analytical. Primary and secondary sources have been consulted. Key Words: Khanqah, Dargah, SajjadaNashin, Culture, Esoteric, Exoteric, Barakah, Introduction Sial Sharif is situated in Sargodha region (in the center of Sargodha- Jhang road). It is famous due to Khawaja Shams-Ud-Din Sialvi, a renowned Chishti Sufi.
