I’m an up and coming pro race car driver from Park Ridge, IL and currently race half size NASCAR-style cars called minicups that I won the National Short Track Championship in. I plan to race the minicups and the CRA/Jegs All-Star series late models next season. This is the series that racers like Erik Jones, Noah Gragson, and Kyle Busch have raced in. My ultimate goal is to race the NASCAR Monster Energy Series with a team like Joe Gibbs Racing. He is the 2016 Rockford Speedway Wild Wednesday Super Cup Champion. Tinkle is the 2015 Illinois Super Cup State Champion for the Short Track Auto Racing Series (STARS) and 2015 Rockford Speedway National Short Track Champion for Super Cups. Rockford Speedway awarded him the “Lead, Follow, or Get Out Of My Way” award for his 2015 season. He was named the 2015 Most Improved Driver and 2014 Rookie of the Year for Central States Region (CSR) Super Cups. He has family ties to the Indianapolis, IN and Richmond, IN areas and was born in Cincinnati, OH.     Introduction I’m Zachary Tinkle - a pro late model race car driver from Speedway, Indiana currently racing in the JEGS/ CRA All-Stars Tour (Champion Racing Association) with my family team, Tinkle Family racing. In my 2019 season, I won the CRA Late Model Sportsman Championship along with the Anderson Speedway Late Model Championship while also getting Rookie of the Year honors. In my 2018 CRA rookie late model season, I finished 5th in the CRA Late Model Sportsman championship and also received the Sportsman of the Year (voted by officials) and Most Popular Driver (voted by fans) awards.
