Meredith Willson’s musical comedy has been delighting audiences since 1957 and is sure to entertain every generation. Harold Hill is a traveling con man, set to pull a fast one on the people of River City, Iowa, by promising to put together a boys band and selling instruments — despite the fact he knows nothing about music. His plan is thwarted as he catches the eye of Marian, the town’s librarian, who sets out to make him an honest man.
