Rehearsals All Sundays (1-6pm) – All cast All Mondays (7.00-10pm) – All cast All Wednesdays (7.00-10pm) – All cast Fridays (7.00-10pm) – These rehearsals will take place closer to the show dates and as per the Director’s request in consultation with required cast members.

Rehearsals will start January 2021, male leads start on the 29th November 2020.

If you are successful in receiving a position in the cast of Jersey Boys, you will be expected to be available for rehearsals, tech runs and performances based on the Jersey Boys schedule. Please list any conflicts with these dates on your audition form. Other dates may be included in the schedule from time to time in consultation with cast.

COVID-19 NQOMT have in place a COVID-19 plan which will be available for all members.

Please note that due to the restrictions booking for the information session and auditions are essential. If you arrive early you will be required to remain outside the hall until you are allowed entry. Everyone MUST use the hand sanitiser upon entry and must sign the register.

If you are unwell and are showing any symptoms of COVID-19, please get in touch with the production team and do NOT attend any information session or audition at the hall.

We are looking for a 25 to 30 strong vocal and character acting male and female cast. The supporting and ensemble roles will double up for various individual characters throughout the show.

• Vocal Auditions: By appointment only; Individual 5 minute private sessions for ensemble, 10 minutes for principal roles. • Dance Auditions: Small group and individual sessions. • Call backs: By appointment.

Notification of Offers All auditionees will be notified via email or phone of their offer or otherwise at the completion of the audition process. We aim to have a final cast list by 21st November 2020.

Membership/ Fees

If cast, you will be required to become a Member of NQOMT. As per our constitution all performers regardless of age must pay $30 to become a member of NQOMT. Please complete the form at the bottom of this sheet if you are not already a financial member and bring it to the first rehearsal along with the membership fee of $30 (the ‘proposer’ and ‘seconded’ can be left blank for the committee to complete). A Production Levy is also payable if you are cast as a performer. The Production Levy fee is $80.00 which includes the following:-

One complimentary ticket for opening night; a free programme; a free disk containing all show photographs taken by Photobase NQ; a free promotional t-shirt (sizing must be listed on your audition sheet); snacks and drinks in theatre foyer after opening night and at theatre between the Saturday matinee and evening performance; performance tuition; and accident insurance whilst involved in company activities;. Costumes are mostly supplied by NQOMT although you will be expected to supply your own shoes and, in some cases, some basic costume parts eg: pantyhose, shirts, etc. NQOMT will supply wigs (if required) and any hairdressing and makeup required for the performance.
