The musical will make its much-anticipated return to Cleveland to play the Connor Palace as a Huntington Featured Performance on January 21 through January 26. JERSEY BOYS is the winner of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award®, the 2006 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Show Album, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical and the 2010 Helpmann Award for Best Musical (Australia). JERSEY BOYS is the behind-the-music story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard… and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story – a story that has made them an international sensation all over again. Dates Announced For JERSEY BOYS Page 2 of 2 The show features all their hits including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What A Night,” “Walk Like A Man,” “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and “Working My Way Back To You.” JERSEY BOYS opened in New York on November 6, 2005 and by the time it closed over 11 years later on January 15, 2017, it was the 12th longest running show in Broadway history, passing such original Broadway productions as 42nd Street, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Producers. JERSEY BOYS will return to New York with a new production in November 2017. The JERSEY BOYS US National Tour opened to rave reviews in San Francisco on December 1, 2006 and is still breaking house records in cities across North America. JERSEY BOYS can also be seen on board the Norwegian Bliss. JERSEY BOYS worldwide has been seen by over 26 million people (as of January 2019). The JERSEY BOYS design and production team comprises Klara Zieglerova (Scenic Design), Jess Goldstein (Costume Design), Howell Binkley (winner of the 2006 Tony® Award for his Lighting Design of JERSEY BOYS), Steve Canyon Kennedy (Sound Design), Michael Clark (Projections Design), Charles LaPointe (Wig and Hair Design), Steve Orich (Orchestrations) and Ron Melrose (Music Supervision, Vocal/Dance Arrangements & Incidental Music).     The Jean Thomas Story—Part 3 Jean Thomas worked with many top producers during the 1960s but the one who cre- ated her best known work and who perhaps brought the best out of her vocal talent was Bob Crewe. Bob Crewe had a special talent himself and was a highly respected producer Jean’s good friend Ellie Greenwich had a good relation- ship with Bob Crewe and commented on his ability and on how they first met in an interview before her untimely passing in 2009….. "I'm not exactly sure when I met Bob Crewe, but we always saw each other around the business from the very beginning. (We) had an affinity for each other (and) still do! He was a joy to work with on all levels . he's a perfectionist, he's open to any outside ideas, he really knows what he wants and gets it, and most of all, he is passionate about what he does. He puts all of himself into eve- rything he touches . I always loved and still do love Bob! I can go on and on about this talented gentleman, and he is just that: A 'gentle man'." Mick Patrick and Malcolm Baumgart captured the best of Bob Crewe’s productions on “The DynoVoice Story….the label that had to happen” Westside CD226 and say of his unique- ness …..“Bob Crewe is not a man to be easily pigeon-holed.
