TM 13 GOLF DAY at Ashburn Golf Club www.ashburngolfclub.com

We are grateful to the Board of Directors of the Ashburn Golf Club for allowing us to host this year’s golf event at their Club, on the “New Course”. At 50 years, it’s not so new but certainly much newer than the 96-year old “Old Course”. One of Canada’s most historic clubs, Ashburn has played an important role in Halifax for nearly a century. The New Course at Ashburn was developed in 1958 and has since hosted many national and provincial championships, two Web.com Tour events, as well as two world-class exhibitions featuring the likes of Matt Kuchar, Tom Watson, Mike Weir and Graham DeLaet. In “Great Golf Courses of Canada” John Gordon described the course as a “spectacularly strong layout, featuring fiendishly tilted fairways, unyielding rough, and large, fast greens.” A cocktail reception will follow golf, after which you will be bused back to the Westin Nova Scotian, anticipating a 7:30 p.m. arrival. Registration includes transportation, lunch, golf, post-golf cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres, and door prizes. Please note that a maximum of 110 players will be accepted on a first come-first served basis.
