Midway Point Yacht Club NOTICE of RACE Midway Point Yacht Club Inc. Pittwater Regatta 30th November & 1st December 2013 Organising Authority: Midway Point Yacht Club NOTICE OF RACE 1 ELIGIBILITY The regatta shall be conducted for the following classes: INVITED CLASSES 1. Sabre Class 2. NS14 Class 3. B14 Class 2 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Saturday, 30th November 2013 Welcome and briefing 1100 Invited Classes (Sabre, NS14 & B14) (Races 1 to 4 commencing) 1300 BBQ TEA After racing ~ 1800 Sunday, 1st December 2013 Invited Classes (Sabre, NS14 & B14) (Races 5 to 8 commencing) 1200 Presentation As soon as possible after racing ~ 1700 3 ENTRY AND FEES Eligible boats may enter on the attached entry form to be lodged with the Organizing Authority by: Friday 29th November 2013 with the required entry fee. Late entries will be accepted up till 10:30am on Saturday 30th November. The entry fees for the regatta are: Invited Classes: $40 4 RULES The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of the YA, class rules (except as any of these are altered by the sailing instructions) and by the sailing instructions. 5 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS Sailing instructions for Invited Classes will be available from the Midway Point Yacht Club web page, from 29th November or at the briefing to be held at 1100 on Saturday 30th November. 1 6 RACING AREA AND COURSES Racing will be conducted on Pittwater Bay in the vicinity of the Midway Point Yacht Club. The course configurations to be sailed will be specified in the Sailing Instructions. 7 SCORING The Low Point scoring system, Appendix A, will apply. The number of races to be discarded will be specified in the sailing instructions. 8 RESULTS AND HANDICAPS Invited Classes: Results for the invited classes will be determined on a scratch basis. 11 SAFETY CATEGORIES Invited Classes YA Addendum A-Part 2 as modified by class rules 12 PRIZES Prizes will be awarded in all classes with the number of prizes dependent on the number of entries in the class. As a minimum it is expected that prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall in each class. The presentation of prizes will be conducted as soon as practicable after the conclusion of racing on Sunday 1st December. 13 INDEMNITY All those taking part in races conducted by the MPYC do so at their own risk and responsibility. The MPYC is not responsible for the seaworthiness of a yacht whose entry is accepted or the sufficiency or adequacy of its equipment. The MPYC is not responsible for any damage or injury, either ashore or at sea, to persons or yachts that might result from participating in races conducted by the Club. Compiling different bibliographical sources, a total of 732 taxa of specific and subspecific order remained. It is about the six large vertebrate classes of Romanian fauna. The first class (Cyclostomata) is represented by only four species, and Pisces (here considered super-class) – by 184 taxa. The rest of 544 taxa belong to Tetrapoda super-class which includes the other four vertebrate classes: Amphibia (20 taxa); Reptilia (31); Aves (382) and Mammalia (110 taxa). Résumé. Cette contribution à la systématique des vertébrés de Roumanie s’adresse à tous ceux qui sont intéressés par la zoologie en général et par la classification de ce groupe en spécial. En compilant différentes sources bibliographiques, on a retenu un total de plus de 732 taxons d’ordre spécifique et sous-spécifique. Il s’agît des six grandes classes de vertébrés. La première classe (Cyclostomata) est représentée dans la faune de Roumanie par quatre espèces, tandis que Pisces (considérée ici au niveau de surclasse) l’est par 184 taxons. Le reste de 544 taxons font partie d’une autre surclasse (Tetrapoda) qui réunit les autres quatre classes de vertébrés: Amphibia (20 taxons); Reptilia (31); Aves (382) et Mammalia (110 taxons).
