Adoption of agenda LIBE_OJ (2016)0711_1 The agenda was adopted with the following changes in the order of business: - Point 15 was removed as the vote on “List of the third countries whose nationals must be in possession of visas when crossing the external borders and those whose nationals are exempt from that requirement (review of the suspension mechanism)” took already place in Strasbourg on 7 July 2016; - Point 16 “Fight against corruption and follow-up of the CRIM resolution” has been postponed to a later committee meeting. 2. Chair’s announcements The Chair indicated that interpretation is available in all languages except Croation and Gaelic. 3. The vote on the text agreed during this interinstitutional negotiation will take place the next day, on 12 July 2016. 6. Commission draft implementing decision pursuant to Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the adequacy of the protection provided by the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield LIBE/8/07023 Exchange of views with Věra Jourová, Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality Věra Jourová, Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality presented the latest version of the Privacy Shield after negotiations with U.S. authorities. The revised version was submitted to the Committee of the Article 31, which, on 8th July, gave a favourable opinion, with four Member States abstaining. The adequacy decision will be formally adopted by the Commission on 12 July. Joint meeting with the ECON committee on the amendment of the anti-money laundering directive and delegated acts on high-risk third countries Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive (EU) 2015/849 on the prevention of the use of the financial system for the purposes of money laundering or terrorist financing and amending Directive 2009/101/EC 2016/0208(COD) - COM(2016)0450 Exchange of views with Věra Jourová, Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality The Commissioner presented the proposed changes in view of the fight against terrorism and tax avoidance. The Chair thanked the Commissioner for agreeing to postpone the adoption of the Delegated Act to 14 July to allow for a proper scrutiny period prior to the deadline for objections, which will be 14 September.
